Rachel Steed
Bio: I am an actor and promoter of indie and innovative Theatre in Austin, TX. I love the classics of Shakespeare, the raw openness of experimental works, and everything in between. The "rules" of art hinder us, we should endeavor to break them. My acting philosophy is simple: ~Thou shalt tell good stories with good people. ~Thou shalt honor the text that is set before thee. ~Thou shalt be prepared, professional, and on time. ~Thou shalt work to create ensemble. I am a sometimes theatrical electrician and lighting assistant. I view my lighting career as an apprentice ship working towards designing independently. I will be producing my first show this fall, I look forward to adding Producer to my bag of tricks.
